Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines outline the standards for behavior and content on SNICO, which includes live streaming, virtual gifting, posts, calls and chats. Our goal is to foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all users. By using the platform, you agree to abide by these guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, permanent device bans or legal actions in severe cases. We encourage reporting issues through the in-app tools.

General Rules

Respect Others: Treat all users with kindness and dignity. Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation are strictly prohibited.
No Hate Speech: Content promoting discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or other protected characteristics is not allowed.
Safety First: Do not share or promote violence, self-harm, suicide, or illegal activities. This includes graphic depictions or encouragement of harm.
Privacy and Consent: Respect personal privacy. Do not share private information (e.g., addresses, phone numbers) without consent. Revenge porn or non-consensual sharing of intimate images is banned.
Age Restrictions: Users must be at least 18 years old. Content targeting or involving minors in inappropriate ways is prohibited.
Spam and Manipulation: Avoid spamming, phishing, or using bots to artificially inflate engagement. Misinformation that causes harm (e.g., false health claims) is not tolerated.
Intellectual Property: Only post content you own or have permission to use. Respect copyrights, trademarks, and fair use policies.

Rules for Posts

Content Standards: Posts must be original or properly attributed. Avoid nudity, explicit sexual content, or graphic violence unless in a clearly labeled educational or artistic context (e.g., documentaries).
Accuracy: Fact-check information before sharing. Deliberate spread of false news or conspiracy theories that incite harm is prohibited.
Advertising: Clearly label sponsored or promotional content. Misleading ads or scams are not allowed.
Prohibited Topics and Content: No political posts, including discussions, endorsements, or debates on elections, policies, or ideologies. No posts depicting or promoting animal abuse, child abuse, or exploitation. No showing off weapons, such as firearms, knives, or explosives, even in non-violent contexts.

Rules for Live Streaming

Real-Time Conduct: Hosts and viewers must adhere to all general rules. Live content cannot include unmoderated hate speech, violence or illegal acts. Hosts must not ask for gifts from the officials or try to engage them in a discussion related to the platform. As a host or viewer if you have any issues or queries, contact support.
Prohibited Behaviors: Nudity that includes showing off private body parts, sexual acts, child exploitation, abusing, excessive smoking, drinking (e.g., visible intoxication or promotion of binge drinking), or live streaming while driving is strictly prohibited, as it poses safety risks and violates community standards.
Host Presence and Camera Rules: The host must be physically present and actively participating throughout the live stream. Keeping the camera off for more than 10 minutes will result in a temporary ban for 24 to 48 hours. Repeated violations will result in a permanent ban.
Viewer Interaction: Encourage positive engagement. Sexual remarks, harassment, bullying, abusing, negative discussion related to this platform or others via live messages during streams is strictly prohibited.
Prohibited Viewer Requests: Viewers must not ask, demand, or encourage streamers to strip, show body parts, perform sexual acts, or engage in punishments (e.g., dares with sexual undertones). Such requests constitute harassment and violate consent standards. Hosts are encouraged to mute, block, or report offenders immediately. Violations may result in comment removal, viewer bans, or permanent account suspensions.
Technical Etiquette: Maintain stream quality and avoid disruptions like intentional lag or interference due to slow internet or your environment.
Monetization: If streams involve paid features, disclose any sponsorships. Fraudulent streams (e.g., fake giveaways) are banned.

Rules for Chats

Private Conversations: Chats should remain respectful and consensual. Soliciting or sharing explicit content without mutual agreement is forbidden.
Moderation: Use chat features responsibly. Excessive caps, emojis, or repetitive messages can be flagged as spam.
Information Sharing: Do not share financial information (e.g., bank details, credit card numbers) or personal information (e.g., full names, addresses, social security numbers) with strangers or unverified users, as this can lead to scams or identity theft.
Harassment and Sexual Content: Harassment includes repeated unwanted messages, threats, or insults. Sexual content, such as explicit images, links, or solicitations, is prohibited unless all participants are consenting adults and the chat is private. Non-consensual sharing or coercion is grounds for immediate action.

Enforcement and Reporting

Our Approach: We use a combination of AI moderation, user reports, and human review to enforce these guidelines. Actions are taken based on severity, with appeals available for account suspensions in some cases.
Consequences: First offenses may result in warnings or content removal. Repeat violations lead to temporary or permanent bans and in severe cases a legal action against you.
How to Report: Use the "Report" button on posts, chats, or streams. Provide details for faster resolution. We review reports promptly and confidentially.
Updates: These guidelines may evolve; we'll notify users of changes via in-app announcements.
Effective Date: These guidelines are effective from December 1, 2025. Any updates will be communicated via in-app notifications, and previous versions will be archived for reference.
